Apron Pillows
The Apron Pillows are a collection of floor and throw pillows that repurpose “maekake,” the traditional Japanese aprons worn by farmers, cooks, brewers, laborers, makers, artists and craftspeople. Adorned with shop logos as a means to advertise their businesses, these unique aprons once designed for work are now made for rest. Filled with buckwheat hulls for a firm beanbag-like feel, the pillows mold and provide support for sitting, laying or meditating on.
Materials: Maekake aprons, 12 oz. Indigo duck canvas, zipper closure, muslin insert, buckwheat hull fill.
